Hakuba
Soma Residence is nestled within the Happo-one ski area located in Hakuba Village in the northwestern region of Nagano Prefecture on the eastern slopes of Mt Karamatsu in one of Japan’s largest ski areas.
Hakuba village is approximately 250km (155 miles) to the north west of Tokyo right in the heart of the Japanese Alps.
The Journey
Total travel time allow approximately 2.5 hours from Tokyo station via high speed train and vehicle, depending on season.

Taxi
From your hotel/accommodation in Tokyo take taxi to Tokyo station Yaesu Eastside Entrance.
Shinkansen
Tokyo Station (Yaesu Entrance ). Follow signs to Nagano Hokuriku Train, platforms 20–23. Time to Nagano Station, approximately 1 hour 30 mins.
Vehicle
From Nagano Station the drive or taxi to Soma Residence is approximately one hour in good conditions. Winter guests will be greeted by Soma's private concierge.
